Since
graduating from the Bristol
Old Vic, William
Bateman has
appeared in a wide variety of productions
across television, radio and theatre.
On the small screen, he
has particularly enjoyed roles in Life
Begins (ITV),
Casualty (BBC) and The
Bill (ITV).
His radio and voice work has included
several pieces for BBC
Radio including
Glass Eels, Lorna
Doone (Tom Faggus)
and Julius Ceasar (Brutus).
Aside
from television and radio, William has
completed the first ever recording of Tyndale's
translation of St. Mark's Gospel,
and was especially pleased to be asked
to read at the launch of Nell
Leyshon's Black Dirt in
the grounds of Glastonbury Abbey .
Apart
from his acting
career, Will is an avid follower of racing,
an accomplished
horseman and has spent
time working in a racing stables. He
is also a keen cricketer and plays regularly
for team in both London and Somerset.
